Documentary Wedding Photography by Dimitri Chorianopoulos and his team of talented photographers
Wedding photography for couples who don’t want all that old fashioned, traditional setup stuff – but instead, want their wedding day captured in a series of natural, evocative images, that capture the atmosphere of the day. The story of the day. Natural, honest, unobtrusive reportage wedding photography.
Looking to capture a narrative – to capture memories. Images that will tell the story of the day, for many years from now. That is what a wedding photographer is for – their work, their value, isn’t really seen on the day – not like the flowers, the food or the music. The true value of good storytelling wedding photography really comes to light long after the wedding day. Moments, emotions, captured in a series of images that will bring back all the memories of the day, for many years to come.

As photographers we try to observe scenes that the bride and groom are not expecting me to do. An American social, street and wedding photographer, Mel DiGiacomo, recounts a story where a bride commented that her wedding had actually been something of a blur. She had never really seen it at the time. “But you,” she said, “You were my witness. You showed me my wedding.”

Wedding Stories
See some of our recent weddings. You can easily get an idea of how we shoot in these posts. Of how we capture the day as it unfolds, the glances, emotion and joy that makes it unforgetable.

Wedding Photofilms
The Photofilm, a combination of images with music that takes you back to the wedding day. Although many of my couples prefer to have a dedicated videographer, the Wedding Photofilm is an option for couples who prefer only unobtrusive photography but still want a film of their day.
Weddings are events where people have fun, laughter, emotion, cries of joy. We're always on the look out for these moments, observing and shooting pictures while seeing scenes develop and people reacting to their feelings.

Wedding Storytelling Albums
Wedding storytelling albums are usually the end product received by our couples. An album helps enormously in the narration of the whole story of your day and will become the first heirloom of your new family.

To shoot pictures like these, to capture moments that tell stories the photographer has to to connect with people, and we really do, From the first meeting with the couple, to the engagement portrait shoot, to the wedding day, we try to be a part of the story, to shoot "from inside" like a guest, not as a photographer with set ideas of what the photos must look like. As Alfred Eisendstaedt once said "It's more important to click with people than to click the shutter."
